Our Veggie Patch
We have been here in the mountainous Granada province of Spain for just over two weeks now. We are deep in the Spanish Campo (countryside), totally engulfed and surrounded by Olive groves. The landscape that surrounds us is simply stunning.
When we lived in London we had a few pots on our balcony and tried and were semi successful growing potatoes, brussel sprouts, chillies and even a butternut squash. What we really wanted though was a garden, a space of our very own, to grow our own veggies and make an attempt at being self sustaining.
So the first thing we did when we arrived was to locate and prepare a patch of land for our very own veggie patch.
The boys have turned out to be pretty awesome gardeners and love helping out, especially with digging.
Oh and don’t forget the watering…the watering is the best thing ever!
What lovely pictures! Hope you get an amazing harvest.
