Ruta Rio Pesquera
Throughout the Granada Province, there are some amazing walking trails. Western Granada, ‘Poniente Granadino’ the last enclave of the Andalucian border, has a rich history and an beautiful landscape. The best way to explore the countryside is to follow a Caminos Naturales Ruta, a route following natural paths.
The Ruta Turistica Rio Pesquera end el Poniente Granadino is a picturesque river walk. You can join the walk at various points, we chose a 2km section along a level track, perfect for Chaos to join in, well, at least some if the time!
We stopped at the river beside the domineering cliffs, a perfect place for a picnic and time for the boys to explore.
What an amazing looking place to visit.

Thanks for hosting. We were wowed when we went around the corner and saw the crack in the rock face.

Oh wow, what amazing terrain. I like the skull too. Did you keep it? I had a debate with myself recently when there was a dead vole near our house and I was going to show Freya (because how often do you see a vole?) but then it had been mangled a bit and I didn’t want to cause her nightmares so I decided against it.

Thanks, it’s amazing terrain, the river would have cut through the rock for so many years.
You don’t see many Voles around! We didn’t keep the skull, but an interesting find, gave us lots to talk about.

This makes me miss my parents so much, it’s similar countryside to where they live nearer to Sevilla. Such a stunning country isn’t it #MySundayPhoto
